The US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Office of the Secretary (OS), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU) provides information for organizations interested in doing business with the Federal Government. HHS is presenting a series of small business community outreach events and a series of govcon workshops are being held in a variety of locations to provide information to two audiences.

Getting Back 2 Business Community Outreach Events

The community outreach event is directed at small businesses to educate them on the govcon industry and provide information to 1) become familiar with processes and procedures associated with federal government contracting; and 2) identify and pursue contract opportunities with HHS. The objective of these outreach events is to engage, equip and inform the small business participants of the federal procurement process so that they become more effective in pursuing contracting opportunities at HHS. This outreach event will be a full day of workshops and matchmaking/counseling. MIHE GovCon Workshops

The workshop is directed to Minority Institutions of Higher Education (MIHE) faculty and staff  to 1) become familiar with processes and procedures associated with federal government contracting; and 2) identify and pursue contract opportunities with HHS. The objective of these workshops is to engage, equip and inform the MIHE participants of the federal procurement process so that they become more effective in pursuing contracting opportunities at HHS.
